After check-in and some time to rest, we gather for a short tour briefing and a chance to meet fellow adventurers. The evening is free to explore the vibrant streets of Thamel or simply relax and take in the first impressions of this exciting Himalayan journey.

Visit Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhnath Stupa and Kathmandu Durbar Square
We begin our cultural exploration of Kathmandu with a visit to the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, one of the holiest Hindu temples in the world, located on the banks of the Bagmati River. Here, we witness centuries-old rituals and spiritual devotion in a setting rich with tradition. Next, we visit the majestic Boudhanath Stupa, a center of Tibetan Buddhism and a peaceful place where prayer flags flutter in the breeze and monks circle the stupa in quiet meditation. Finally, we explore the historic Kathmandu Durbar Square, where royal palaces, intricately carved temples, and vibrant street life give us a glimpse into Nepal’s medieval past. Visit to Bhaktapur and Drive to Dhulikhel
We begin our day with a visit to Bhaktapur, an ancient city renowned for its beautifully preserved architecture, traditional Newari culture, and timeless charm. As we stroll through Bhaktapur Durbar Square, we admire intricate wood carvings, towering pagodas, and local artisans at work. After soaking in the rich heritage and enjoying a taste of authentic local cuisine, we drive to Dhulikhel, a peaceful hill town known for its stunning Himalayan views and serene atmosphere. As the sun begins to set, we settle in for the evening, surrounded by rolling hills and the distant silhouettes of snow-capped peaks.

Fly to Pokhara, Drive to Lumle and Trek to Birethanti
We begin the next leg of our adventure with a scenic flight to Pokhara, where the towering Annapurna range welcomes us with open skies and breathtaking beauty. Upon arrival, we drive to Lumle, a peaceful village that serves as the gateway to our trek. From here, we start our walk toward Birethanti, following a gentle trail through terraced fields, lush forests, and charming rural landscapes. The trek introduces us to the rhythm of mountain life, and by the time we reach Birethanti, we’re fully immersed in the serene charm of Nepal’s countryside.

Trek to Gurung Lodge, Majgoan: (Altitude: 1,400 m/4,593 ft | Trek duration: 2 hrs)
We continue our trek through the picturesque foothills of the Annapurna region, making our way to Gurung Lodge in Majgaon. The trail takes us through rhododendron forests, quiet villages, and terraced fields, offering stunning views of the surrounding valleys and snow-capped peaks. As we arrive in Majgaon, a tranquil Gurung village, we are welcomed by the warm hospitality of the locals and the comfort of the beautifully set Gurung Lodge. Surrounded by nature and traditional mountain charm, it's the perfect place to relax, unwind, and take in the peaceful rhythms of village life.

Trek to Phedi: (Altitude: 1,130 m/3,707 ft | Trek duration: 2 hrs) and drive back to Pokhara
We begin our day with a scenic downhill trek from the beautiful village of Dhampus, taking in panoramic views of the Annapurna and Machhapuchhre ranges as we descend through terraced fields and traditional settlements. After about three hours, we reach Phedi, where our vehicle will be waiting to drive us back to Pokhara. The short drive offers a welcome chance to relax and reflect on the trail before we dive into the next leg of our adventure. This trek is just a glimpse of the excitement ahead with many more thrilling activities still to come in Pokhara.

Sightseeing in Pokhara
After returning from our trek, we dive straight into the vibrant charm of Pokhara with a full day of sightseeing. We explore the serene Phewa Lake, where we can enjoy a peaceful boat ride and visit the Tal Barahi Temple situated on an island in the lake. From there, we head up to the World Peace Pagoda for panoramic views of the lake, city, and surrounding mountains. Next, we visit the mystical Gupteshwor Cave and the impressive Devi’s Falls, followed by a walk through the International Mountain Museum, which offers deep insights into Nepal’s mountaineering history and Himalayan culture. Throughout the day, we soak in Pokhara’s laid-back atmosphere, scenic beauty, and cultural richness, a perfect blend of adventure and tranquility before continuing our journey.

Drive to Bandipur (Distance: 62 km/ 38.5 miles | Drive duration: 2.5 Hours) and Explore Bandipur
We leave the lakeside charm of Pokhara behind and set out on a scenic drive to Bandipur, a beautifully preserved hilltop town nestled between Pokhara and Kathmandu. The drive takes about 2.5 to 3 hours, winding through green hills, river valleys, and traditional countryside. Upon arrival, we step into a town that feels frozen in time with cobblestone streets, Newari architecture, and panoramic views of the Himalayas. Once in Bandipur, we take a relaxed stroll through the charming bazaar, explore the historic temples and shrines, and learn about the town’s rich cultural heritage. We visit Thani Mai Temple for sweeping sunset views, and if time allows, explore Siddha Cave, one of the largest caves in Nepal. The peaceful ambiance, lack of traffic, and warm hospitality make Bandipur a perfect spot to unwind while still soaking in the beauty and culture of rural Nepal.

Drive to Damauli and enjoy rafting at Seti River
After a refreshing stay in Bandipur, we continue our adventure with a scenic drive to Damauli, the starting point for an exciting rafting experience on the Seti River. The drive takes about an hour and brings us to the tranquil banks of the river, known for its gentle rapids, stunning limestone gorges, and warm waters. Once geared up, we begin our rafting journey, a perfect mix of mild thrills and peaceful floating, ideal for both beginners and nature lovers. As we paddle downstream, we pass through lush forests, remote villages, and hidden beaches, with occasional opportunities to swim or simply relax on the raft. The Seti River offers not just adventure, but also a unique perspective on Nepal’s natural beauty, making this a memorable highlight of our trip.

Drive to Chitwan
After an exciting day of rafting on the Seti River, we spend a relaxing evening near Damauli, soaking in the peaceful riverside atmosphere and reflecting on the day’s adventure. The following morning, we hit the road and drive to Chitwan, a journey of about 2.5 to 3 hours through the scenic landscapes of the Terai region. As we descend into the lowlands, the scenery changes from hills to flat, subtropical forests. Upon arrival in Chitwan, we check into our jungle lodge and get a taste of the region’s warm hospitality. With the wilderness of Chitwan National Park now at our doorstep, we gear up for the next thrilling chapter of our journey, from jungle safaris to cultural encounters with the Tharu community.

Full Day jungle activities in Chitwan National Park
Today is dedicated to exploring the rich biodiversity of Chitwan National Park through a full day of immersive jungle activities. We begin with a morning canoe ride along the Rapti River, where we quietly observe marsh mugger crocodiles, water birds, and other wildlife in their natural habitat. Next, we embark on a guided jungle walk led by experienced naturalists who share insights into the flora, fauna, and ecosystems of the park. In the afternoon, we head out on an exciting jeep safari, with opportunities to spot rare species such as the one-horned rhinoceros, sloth bears, deer, and if lucky, the elusive Bengal tiger. In the evening, we enjoy a Tharu cultural performance, a vibrant showcase of traditional dance and music from the indigenous community of the region.

Fly Back to Kathmandu
After an unforgettable experience in the jungles of Chitwan, we wrap up our adventure with a scenic flight back to Kathmandu. The short flight, typically around 25 minutes, offers beautiful aerial views of Nepal’s diverse landscape from the flat expanses of the Terai to the rising hills and distant Himalayan peaks. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, we’re back in the bustling capital, where ancient temples, lively streets, and cultural richness await. Whether it's for some final sightseeing, souvenir shopping, or simply relaxing after an action-packed journey, Kathmandu welcomes us once again as the perfect place to reflect on our incredible adventure through Nepal.
