Arrive in Kathmandu: (Altitude: 1,280 m/ 4,200 ft) and visit Pashupatinath and Boudhanath
Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you’ll be warmly welcomed at Tribhuvan International Airport and transferred to your hotel. After a brief rest, your Nepal journey begins with a spiritual immersion at two of the country’s most revered UNESCO World Heritage Sites. First, we will visit Pashupatinath Temple, a sacred Hindu pilgrimage site on the banks of the Bagmati River, where ancient rituals and cremation ceremonies offer a powerful glimpse into Nepali spiritual life. Then, we will continue to Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest Buddhist stupas in the world, where the rhythmic spinning of prayer wheels and soft chants of monks create a serene atmosphere to end your first day in Nepal.

Visit Kathmandu Durbar Square and Fly to Pokhara: (Altitude: 850 m/ 2,790 ft | Flight Distance: 146 kilometers/ 91 miles | Flight Duration: 45-50 minutes)
After breakfast, you begin your day with a guided visit to Kathmandu Durbar Square, a historic royal palace complex rich with intricately carved temples, courtyards, and the living goddess Kumari’s residence. This UNESCO World Heritage Site offers a fascinating glimpse into the Malla-era architecture and royal history of Nepal. Later in the day, you'll take a short scenic flight to Pokhara, a tranquil lakeside city nestled beneath the Himalayas. Upon arrival, you will get to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and stunning mountain views as you settle in for the next leg of your adventure.

Drive to Chitwan: (Altitude: 815 m/ 2,674 ft | Distance: 160 km/ 99 miles | Drive duration: 5-6 hrs)
After an early breakfast, we will set off on a scenic drive from Pokhara to Chitwan, a journey of around 5-6 hours through the lush hills, river valleys, and rural landscapes of central Nepal. As you descend from the foothills into the lowland Terai region, the terrain gradually shifts from mountainous to subtropical. Upon arrival in Chitwan, you’ll check into your jungle lodge or resort and have time to relax before beginning your wildlife adventure. In the evening, we can enjoy a traditional Tharu cultural dance performance, offering a vibrant introduction to the local community and their way of life.

Fly to Kathmandu and visit Patan and Swyombhunath Stupa: (Altitude: 1,280 m/ 4,200 ft | Flight duration: 30 minutes)
After breakfast, we will take a short domestic flight from Chitwan to Kathmandu, enjoying aerial views of Nepal’s diverse landscape. Upon arrival, we'll head straight to the ancient city of Patan (Lalitpur), renowned for its exquisite Newari architecture, intricate temples, and beautifully preserved palace square. After exploring Patan Durbar Square and its vibrant artisan culture we will visit the iconic Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple, perched atop a hill overlooking the Kathmandu Valley. This sacred Buddhist site offers panoramic views and a peaceful ambiance, making it a perfect spot to reflect on your journey through Nepal.

After a memorable journey through Nepal’s cultural, natural, and wildlife treasures, you’ll be transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport for your departure flight home. Carry with you unforgettable memories and the spirit of the Himalayas as you say farewell to Nepal.
