Visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, Boudhanath Stupa and Pashupatinath Temple
We begin our cultural exploration of Kathmandu with visits to three of the city's most revered UNESCO World Heritage Sites. First, we stroll through Kathmandu Durbar Square, where centuries-old palaces and temples reveal the grandeur of Nepal’s royal past. From there, we make our way to the majestic Boudhanath Stupa, a center of Tibetan Buddhism, where we join pilgrims walking clockwise around the stupa, soaking in its peaceful energy. Finally, we visit the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, Nepal’s holiest Hindu shrine, where we observe evening rituals along the Bagmati River, a powerful and moving experience that offers a deeper connection to Nepal’s spiritual soul.

Visit Bungmati, Khokana and Patan Durbar Square
We continue our journey into the rich cultural tapestry of the Kathmandu Valley with a visit to the traditional Newar villages of Bungmati and Khokana, followed by a guided tour of Patan Durbar Square. In Bungmati and Khokana, we step back in time as we walk through quiet lanes lined with red-brick houses, witnessing age-old craftsmanship, local farming traditions, and sacred shrines that reflect centuries of living heritage. Later, we explore the exquisite Patan Durbar Square, renowned for its stunning Newari architecture, intricately carved temples, and the beautifully restored palace complex that showcases the artistic brilliance of the Malla period.

After breakfast, we take a short and scenic 30-minute flight from Kathmandu to Bharatpur, offering stunning aerial views of the Himalayan foothills. Upon arrival, we enjoy a comfortable 45-minute drive through the lowland countryside to reach Chitwan, home to Nepal’s famed jungle and wildlife. Once there, we check into our lodge or resort and prepare for the exciting days ahead in Chitwan National Park, where nature, wildlife, and culture come together in one unforgettable setting.

Full Day Jungle Activities in Chitwan National Park
Today is dedicated to exploring the rich biodiversity of Chitwan National Park through a full day of immersive jungle activities. We begin with a morning canoe ride along the Rapti River, where we quietly observe marsh mugger crocodiles, water birds, and other wildlife in their natural habitat. Next, we embark on a guided jungle walk led by experienced naturalists who share insights into the flora, fauna, and ecosystems of the park. In the afternoon, we head out on an exciting jeep safari, with opportunities to spot rare species such as the one-horned rhinoceros, sloth bears, deer, and if lucky, the elusive Bengal tiger. In the evening, we enjoy a Tharu cultural performance, a vibrant showcase of traditional dance and music from the indigenous community of the region.

After breakfast, we depart Chitwan and begin our scenic drive to Pokhara, a journey of approximately 5 to 6 hours through the diverse landscapes of Nepal’s mid-hills. Along the way, we pass terraced fields, charming villages, and river valleys, with occasional views of the distant Himalayan peaks on clear days. Upon arrival in Pokhara, we check into our hotel and take time to relax by the tranquil shores of Phewa Lake, surrounded by the stunning Annapurna range, an ideal setting for the wellness portion of our journey.

For the next five days, we immerse ourselves in healing and self-discovery through daily practices of Ayurveda, yoga, and meditation in the peaceful surroundings of Pokhara. Each morning begins with guided yoga sessions overlooking the serene Phewa Lake or the Himalayan foothills, helping you align body and breath. Throughout the days, we engage in meditation practices, mindfulness walks, and personalized Ayurvedic therapies including massages, herbal treatments, and dietary guidance from certified practitioners. Fly back to Kathmandu and Drive to Bhaktapur
After a rejuvenating stay in Pokhara, we take a short scenic flight back to Kathmandu, offering one last aerial glimpse of the Himalayas. Upon landing, we drive directly to Bhaktapur, one of the most beautifully preserved medieval cities in the Kathmandu Valley. Known for its rich Newar culture, ancient architecture, and peaceful ambiance, Bhaktapur offers a quieter, more traditional atmosphere, an ideal place to unwind and reflect as our journey nears its end.

Depending on your flight schedule, we’ll arrange your transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport and assist with any final departure needs.
