Visit Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa and Budhanilkhantha Temple
We begin our spiritual journey in Kathmandu with visits to three of the city’s most revered temples. First, we explore Pashupatinath Temple, one of the holiest Hindu shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva, witnessing sacred rituals along the Bagmati River. Next, we visit Boudhanath Stupa, a magnificent Buddhist monument where pilgrims from around the world come to pray and meditate. Finally, we stop at Budhanilkantha Temple, famous for its enormous reclining Vishnu statue, offering a peaceful and powerful conclusion to our day of sacred exploration.

After a short domestic flight from Kathmandu to Janakpur, we arrive in the spiritual heart of Mithila. Upon landing, we head straight to Janakpur Dham, the sacred birthplace of Goddess Sita. Here, we explore the stunning Janaki Mandir and nearby temples, soaking in the vibrant colors, devotional energy, and rich cultural heritage that make this pilgrimage site so special.

Visit Dhanusha Dham & drive to Chitwan: (Altitude: 815 m/ 2,674 ft)
We start the day with a visit to the sacred Dhanusha Dham, an important pilgrimage site tied to the Ramayana and believed to be where Lord Rama broke Shiva’s bow. The temple’s spiritual aura and intricate architecture offer a glimpse into Nepal’s rich religious heritage. After this meaningful visit, we take a scenic drive across the fertile Terai plains to Chitwan National Park. Along the way, you’ll enjoy views of rural life and lush landscapes. Once in Chitwan, we check into our comfortable lodge and get ready for the exciting jungle activities ahead.

Jungle activities in Chitwan National Park
Today is dedicated to exploring the rich biodiversity of Chitwan National Park through a full day of immersive jungle activities. We begin with a morning canoe ride along the Rapti River, where we quietly observe marsh mugger crocodiles, water birds, and other wildlife in their natural habitat. Next, we embark on a guided jungle walk led by experienced naturalists who share insights into the flora, fauna, and ecosystems of the park. In the afternoon, we head out on an exciting jeep safari, with opportunities to spot rare species such as the one-horned rhinoceros, sloth bears, deer, and if lucky, the elusive Bengal tiger. In the evening, we enjoy a Tharu cultural performance, a vibrant showcase of traditional dance and music from the indigenous community of the region.

Fly back to Kathmandu, visit Swyombhunath Stupa and Kathmandu Durbar Square
After a refreshing flight back to Kathmandu, we begin our cultural exploration with a visit to the iconic Swyambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple, perched atop a hill offering panoramic views of the city. From there, we head to Kathmandu Durbar Square, the historic royal plaza filled with ancient palaces, temples, and vibrant local life. This day offers a perfect blend of spiritual insight and rich heritage as we dive into the heart of Nepal’s capital.
